Marlin Briscoe (#27) in a huddle with the 1967 team. This was Briscoe's final year with the OU Indians. With a 4-0 conference record and 7-3 season, the team earned the CIC Championship that year, their fourth league title in six years. Ten members of the team, Briscoe among them, were named CIC All-Stars for 1967. Many considered Briscoe the brightest star, with 21 school records to his credit. He completed 140 of 252 passes for 2283 yards and 25 touchdowns, with a per-game average total offense of 263.7 yards.
