Omaha University vs Drake University Football Game
This video, silent and just 5 minutes and 54 seconds long, is the only known surviving footage of Marlin Briscoe (#27) playing for the University of Omaha. The date was November 20, 1965, and the OU Indians faced the Drake University Bulldogs in Des Moines for their tenth and final game of the season. Despite an early lead in the first period, OU lost to Drake, 36-30, a bitter end to an otherwise stellar 8-2 season. Though the Indians were not victorious, Marlin Briscoe put forth an impressive performance, hitting 13 of 27 passes for 194 yards.
